As expected, April is starting slowly, but the schedule of events starts to pick up towards the end of the month. We'll be full send into the car show season starting in May. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone out there cruising.

NEWS AND NOTES
There are a couple of announcements regarding the two Columbus Cars & Coffee groups. The first and probably most important announcement is there will be no more Cars & Coffee on Saturday mornings at the City Apartments off Olentangy and Ackerman roads. The group has lost the location due to the owners leasing out the lot for construction projects. The group is currently reviewing new venues for the Saturday morning meet. In the meantime, there is still Cars & Coffee on Friday mornings at Colin's Coffee in Upper Arlington and Sunday mornings at the Westerville Starbucks.
The other announcement comes from what I like to call the "corporate-sponsored" Columbus Cars & Coffee. After years of having the Midwestern Auto Group (MAG) as its primary sponsor, this year the group has announced that Season 17 will be presented by Performance Luxury. The first meet is scheduled for April 19th at 3 Easton Oval.
America’s Top Classic Car Organizations and Resources:
I'm proud to report that carshowtalk.com is included in the list of America's Top Classic Car Organizations and Resources. The article provides a great overview of the organizations and resources involved in the classic car industry. You can read the article HERE. The beginning of the page is an advertisement for A-1 Auto Transport so you'll have to scroll down a bit to get to the article.
Miller Swap Meet and Car Show:
The only area car show in March was the annual Miller Spring Swap Meet and Car Show held at the Ross County Fairgrounds in Chillicothe, Ohio on March 8th.

With temperatures barely reaching the 40s, the show managed to register 84 vehicles with close to 100 total in attendance.
Dale Pearce's 1950 Chevy 3100 pickup received the Best Truck Award.

The 1968 Dodge Charger belonging to Dr. Ron Rogers was chosen Best Mopar.

The Best of Show for the years '88 and newer went to Cadillac Mac and his 2015 Ford Coyote Mustang.

Charlie Seymour's 1967 Chevy Nova SS was picked Best of Show for '87 and older.

Looking just a bit cold, Dave O'Brien, Jeff Tolley, and Eddie Smith received Top 15 awards.

That's all for this week. Big Thanks to Dale Pearce for his report and photos from the Miller Car Show.
There's a swap meet and several cruise-ins on the schedule for this coming weekend. Until next week, stay safe out there.

Thank you, Marc!
The person who wrote the article contacted me in February and asked me to send her some info on carshowtalk.com. I guess the website reaches further out than Central Ohio. Anyway, I was more than happy to send her some information.
All the best,
