Upcoming Central Ohio Car Events for September 14 – 20

Here are this week's Central Ohio car events. Saturday has a big lineup to choose from.

News and Notes:

Last week the Ohio Department of Health told Der Dutchman it had to cancel its weekly cruise-in. Despite the notice, 304 cars showed up last Thursday. Just like last week, there will be additional restaurant parking at the farm and food available. There will again be no registration or door prizes at the end of the evening.

UPDATE: Just received a text from Wayne Nisly. The health inspector was at Der Dutchman today. He gave the okay to register cars, serve food, and give out door prizes.

Congrats to Chris Kraner and his 1970 Ford Torino GT for taking Best of Show at the Auto Smarts Radio Ten Pin Alley show in Hilliard on Saturday.

On Friday evening, the Advance Auto Parts/Creative Towing show in Marysville raised $140 for the Milford Center Food Pantry. This month's award winners were Bill Mullins with a 1934 Ford Coupe, Glen Frisby with a 1955 Chevy, and Bob Roush with a 1967 Mercury Cougar.

I'm still updating the Save the Dates for 2020 page. Check out this page for a complete list of car events through the end of the season.

Hi, Kim. I found an event on Sunday, Oct 11.....Circleville First Church Car show.....it's an afternoon show...registration is from 2 to 4 pm. Awards at 6. Just an FYI for you and viewers out there.

Hi Clement, Thanks for the info. I called the number listed on the Old Ride posting to verify that the show was still on. however, I never got a return call. What has me concerned is that the Church's website doesn't have a single mention of the show. I'm going to call the church in the morning to confirm the status of the show before I post it to my website.

Oh, ok. I was just looking at their website...it's about 1/2 way down on upcoming events. It seems it was supposed to be on Oct 4th, but is being held on the 11th now because of the rain that we had on the 4th. I will try calling them as well.
