If you felt like braving the early April temperatures to hang out around cars and your car buddies, then Circleville, Ohio was the place to be this past weekend.

On Friday evening, the Roundtown Cruisers Car Club held its first Summer Cruise Night of the season in downtown Circleville. The cruise-in had 50 cars in attendance. There were door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and several sponsors' choice awards.

Saturday evening the season opener of Take Back the Strip Cruise took place. Some 500 cars cruised north and south on Court Street in Circleville. The event raised $1200 for the Circle Area Humane Society.

Our good friend, Dale Pearce, used the cruise for the maiden voyage of his Ole Yeller pickup truck.

Donald Sparks posted a video on his Go4Rider YouTube channel from Saturday morning's Springfield Cars and Coffee.

That’s it for this week. If anyone has info on Sunday’s Heart of Ohio Antique Center Cruise-in or the Low N Slow event in Jeffersonville, please post in the comment section.

Special thanks to Jeff Coleman and Dale Pearce for contributing to this week's report.

I attended the Low N Slow event. I mostly went as an excuse to take a cruise through some of the backroads to Jeffersonville. Got there a little before noon and there was already a huge turnout. It was an eclectic mix of cars; plenty of what you'd expect and a surprising number of Camaros, Corvettes and Charger/Challengers, Jeeps, rods, projects and even a handful of classics too. The outlet area was super nice and a solid choice for a mid-point gathering where several different Ohio regions could meet for a large car show. The drive there was fun, getting in and out was easy and the pavement was in great shape. There was a food truck, a few vendors (including Jax Wax), music (at a pleasantly low volume) and everybody was super friendly. Couldn't stay for the whole thing because I had a lawn to mow but a good time was had by all and I definitely plan to attend the next one!

I love the way you take the time to include presonal coverage of the shows! Your Pictures are heart warming and the cars/trucks/bikes are awesome.

      Hi Steve,

      I appreciate the compliments.

I can't take credit for every photo. A good percentage come from other members of the Central Ohio car community.
