NEWS AND NOTES
Creative Auto Group/Advanced Auto Parts Car Show:
The weather was once again uncooperative for the second Creative Auto Group/Advanced Auto Parts Car Show in Marysville, Ohio on Friday evening.
Seven cars braved the cold and windy conditions but dry roads to attend this month's show.
The manager's picks were Duane Yatkin and his "Purple Haze" Dodge Charger, Dave Lamb's 1968 Corvette, and Rick Jones with his 1950 Ford F2 truck.

2nd Friday NAPA Cruise-in:
The organizers of the 2nd Friday NAPA Cruise-in made the wise decision to reschedule the cruise-in from Friday evening to Saturday evening. With much better weather on Saturday, the cruise-in had an estimated 50-60 cars in attendance.
Here are some of the cars that were in attendance Saturday evening:

The Tree Church Car Show:
The Tree Church in Lancaster, Ohio hosted a car show on Saturday with all donations going to the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation. The show had 83 cars in attendance. There were door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and Top Three car awards.

Mustang 60th Anniversary Car Show:
The big event of the weekend took place on Sunday. Ricart Ford in Groveport, Ohio, Rabid Customs, Jax Wax, and the Marysville Mustang Club hosted the Mustang 60th Anniversary Car Show at the Ricart dealership.
The "official" word from the Ricart reps is that 428 cars attended the event. Very impressive!
Three awards were presented. They were Best Modern Mustang (1994 - 2024), Best Classic Mustang (1964 - 1993), and Best of Show.

Here are some of the cars that participated in the event.

By all accounts, it was a great event. The nice weather didn't hurt either.
Special thanks to Jeff Shankle, Arch Mayer, Dale Pearce, Chad Herrick, and Jeff Tolley for contributing to this week's report.
I'm going to conclude this News and Notes with a few Florida cars. I'm still in Florida for another two weeks and I'm taking every opportunity to attend as many car events as possible before returning to Ohio. On Saturday, I attended the East Coast Cruisers Car Club's monthly cruise-in at the City Center Municipal Complex in Port Orange, Florida. It's a great venue for a cruise-in and Saturday's weather was just about perfect. Enjoy the photos!
