Der Dutchman Cruise-In:
Thursday's Der Dutchman cruise-in saw a huge turnout with 378 cars.
This 1962 Plymouth Savoy station wagon with 413 Max Wedge engine made a first-time appearance at the cruise-in.

Let's Get Revvved Up For Autism:
On Saturday, BossCars.com in combination with the Delaware Knights Car Club sponsored the Let's Get Revvved Up for Autism Car Show. The show took place at the New Beginnings Church in Delaware, Ohio.

There was no set registration fee. The registration cost was whatever you wished to donate. All proceeds from the show which also included monies raised from door prizes and a 50/50 raffle went to the Autism Society of Central Ohio.

The show registered 71 vehicles. There were awards for the Top 10 cars and trucks, two Favorite Motorcycle awards, Pastor's Choice, Kids Choice, Best Survior, Autism of Central Ohio's Choice, BossCars.com's Choice, Delaware Knights' Choice, and Best of Show. The Favorite Motorcycle Awards were pretty awesome.


The Favorite Motorcycle Awards went to Mark Stover with a 2018 Harley Davidson Street Glide and Corey Hicks with a 2014 Harley Davidson Sportster Forty 48


Butch and Linda Millron's 1953 Chevy 3100 pickup received the Kids Choice Award.

The Pastor's Choice went to the 1951 Ford Business Coupe owned by Darrell Cassell.

Chris Acker's 1957 Jeep-Willeys Army received the Best Survivor Award.

The BossCars.com's Choice went to Scott and Debbie Steck and their 1935 Ford 5 Window Coupe

The Delaware Knights Car Club selected Michael Bullock's 1964 Ford Fairlane as its Choice.

The Autism Society's pick was Pete Fullerton's 1964 Volvo 1800S.

And finally, the Ford Galaxie Fairlane 500 Retractable of Dean Maisenbacher was selected Best of Show.



Southeast Conservation Club Car Show:
The Southeast Conservation Club in Grove City, Ohio hosted its 7th Annual car show on Saturday.
This year the club registered 128 cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

Blendon Senior Center Car Show:
The Blendon Senior Center hosted its annual Car Show on Saturday at the Hempstead Rd location in Westerville, Ohio.

The show had 60 cars in attendance. Registration was $10. Free food and drinks were included with registration.
The awards presentation started 30 minutes early because of the heat. The only negative is they didn't call out the car owner's name when they presented the awards just the car number.
Best of Show went to Rod Scott with a 1958 Dodge Sweptside pickup.

Gospel Car & Motorcycle Show:
The Columbus Christian Center Church in Columbus, Ohio was the location for the 16th Annual Gospel Car & Motorcycle Show on Saturday.
The Show registered 48 Cars.
Dale Pearce received a Top 30 award for his 1950 Chevy 3600 pickup.

The Best of Show Award went to Jason and Debbie Blankenship with their 1959 Chevy Apache pickup.


Moundbuilders DeMolay Motor Mania Car Show:
The Moundbuilders DeMolay hosted its 7th Annual Motor Mania Car Show on Sunday at the Eagles F.O.E 387 in Newark, Ohio.

The Moundbuilder DeMolay is a local non-profit youth leadership organization of young men that fosters them to be the next generation of leaders.
The show registered 77 vehicles. The awards consisted of 25 plaques named for the positions the young men can hold within the organization and five "Special" Award trophies.


Here are the "Special" Award Winners:
The Moundbuilders Golden Ticket Award which gives the winner free entry to next year's show went to Dale Pearce with his 1950 Chevy 3600 pickup.

Wings of Flight Wheels of Yesteryear:
The big event over the weekend turned out to be the Wings of Flight Wheels of Yesteryear event that took place on Saturday at The Airport in Heath, Ohio.
The event celebrated the completion of the New Licking County Airport Terminal by showcasing military and corporate aircraft in combination with a classic car show.
The show registered 212 cars but had closer to 300 vehicles in attendance.
Here's the very unique Top 30 Award Dave O'Brien received for his 1970 Dodge Coronet 500.

Kick Off to Buckeye Football and Car, Truck & Bike Show at Eldorado's Bar, Food & Spirits
The Crossroads Events crew was once again busy hosting car shows this past weekend. On Saturday, the crew was at the Mill Damn Corner Grill in Hebron, Ohio kicking off the 2024 Ohio State Football season. Then Sunday the crew traveled to the corner of Morse Road and High Street to host the first car show of the season at Eldorado's Bar, Food, & Spirits.
The big winners on Saturday were David Corbin with a 1982 Ford Mustang and Jay Ritchey with a 1967 Chevy Chevelle.
David received the Veterans Owned Vehicle Award.


Jay's Chevelle took home the Best in Show honors.


One of the big winners at Eldorado's on Sunday was Larry Shredl with his 1965 Ford Mustang. Larry's Mustang received the Veteran's Owned Vehicle Award.


The owner of Eldorado selected Jim McGruder's 2013 Corvette Grandsport as Best in Show.

Dave Argyle Memorial Car Show:
The 20th Annual Dave Argyle Memorial Car Show took place on Saturday at the Amvets Post 1985 in Lancaster, Ohio.
This year the show registered 85 cars.
Charlie and Becky Seymour received the 25th Annual Keith Kumler Memorial Trophy for their 1967 Chevy Nova SS.

Best of Show went to Jim Bickel's 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA.



Other Area Shows:
- The Auto Smarts Radio Cruise and Ride team was at the Upper Deck Sports Bar in Grove City, Ohio on Saturday. Andrew Van Ert's 1968 Chevy Chevelle took home the Best of Show Award.


- Steve Wallace took his two Pontiac Trans Ams to the Trans Am Nationals this weekend in Fairborn, Ohio. There were more than 500 Trans Ams in attendance. Steve's red 1978 Trans Am took 3rd place in the Heavy Modified Class. His 1976 silver Trans Am sat in the winner's row for taking 1st Place last year. Congratulations to Steve!
