Central Ohio Car Events for April 5 – 10, 2022

There's a very good chance the weather in early April will be less than ideal for a car show or cruise-in. You even might have to dodge a few snowflakes.

Attendance turned out pretty good for the first weekend of April. The Rod Knockers Car Club out of Marion, Ohio registered about 50 cars for their first show of the season.

Sixty cars turned out for the first DJ Dick "Hot Dog" Ryman's cruise-in at the Heart of Ohio Antique Center just outside Springfield, Ohio.

And finally, there was a decent turnout Saturday morning for Columbus Cars and Coffee at the City Apartments.

Special thanks to Jeff Shankle for the photos.

Hi, Kim. Could you please put on your " Ongoing Events " section, the Heart of Ohio Antique Mall free cruise - ins...1st Sunday of the month, April to October. I NEVER saw ANY ads for this...missed it Sunday the 3rd. Thank you !! Hope all is well.

Yes I will. Trust me, I've been checking their calendar every couple of days and there's been nothing posted. I've even tried to find the schedule for Dick Hot Dog Ryman. I hesitate to list any event until I can verify it.

Hi, Kim, safe travels. Just FYI, I read somewhere the O'Reillys cruise scheduled for Sunday April 17 is cancelled ( because Sunday is Easter ) Perhaps Ronnie will confirm with you. See you soon hopefully. Thanks for all the updates.

Thanks for the info about O’Reilly cruise. I will reach out to Ronnie. I thought it was odd to have a show on Easter but you never know these days. As a country, we’re certainly not as religious as we used to be.

Looking forward to getting home and seeing everyone.
