Upcoming Central Ohio Car Events August 10 – 16

Here are the Central Ohio car events for this week.

The Canal Events Center in Canal Winchester changed up their schedule this past week. The Friday night cruise-in has been moved to Sunday afternoons and the Wednesday night Bike & Sights moved to Friday.

Not sure what the plans are for the Mid Ohio Cruisers and their show this month at Burger King. I'll update this post as soon as I have any information.

News and Notes:

In case you haven't heard, Der Dutchman set a new attendance record last Thursday with 327 cars. The previous attendance record was 243 vehicles set on September 12th of last year.

The Empty Pockets Cruisers had their best attendance for their rescheduled Armed Forces show. They registered 189 cars on Saturday. Kevin Foust took the Best of Show honors.

And Finally, Big Dawg and the C-Town Cruisers registered 58 cars at the Sunday Cruisin' at the Point on Main show. Congrats to Joe Messano and his 1966 Mustang Fastback for picking up the Best of Show award.

The Save the Dates for 2020 page is still be updated regularly. I added a few events as well as deleted a few events this week.

Kim, the Cruise Night in Delaware has lost their location to host at Pat Catan's Center and I have not been able to find out if they have a new location. Maybe someone out there knows?

I just checked, and nothing has been posted on the club’s Facebook page about this month’s show. That’s kind of unusual for them. You might try calling the Burger King to see if they have any info.

The Mid Ohio Cruisers updated their FB page about an hour ago. No show tonight but will cruise again this month. Meet at BK at 5pm if interested.

Kim, Drove 40 miles to O Riellys today and show was cancelled with no notification on line that I can find. People drove from Cleveland, Springfield, and Chillicothe. Sure, bad weather was predicted but with a last minute decision hold the show and let the people decide whether or not they come out. First and last time to O Riellys for me. Thanks for your work.

Hi DJ, I understand your frustration. I drove to one of their shows last year scheduled at the Tee Jayes on Morse Rd Only to find out when I got there it was cancelled. Fortunately, I only drove five miles instead of 40. I would definitely recommend calling to confirm the show is still on before going to any event hosted by this group.
