Jack Maxton Chevrolet has finally posted their Friday Night Cruisin flyer to their Facebook page. This is a free registration ALL Chevy-powered car show held on the third Friday of the month from June through September.
Because of Mother's Day, I could only find one car show for Sunday. The Facebook post for this show only has information about time and location. If you're interested in going, I would recommend giving Chazziz DJ Service a call (937-218-2290) before making the trip down I-71. Update: I was sent info about a second car show scheduled on Sunday in Springfield, Ohio.
The first Der Dutchman cruise-in is two weeks away. I received the following email from Wayne Nisly asking for help spreading the word on several matters associated with the cruise-in. Here's Wayne's email:
Could you help me spread the word on two matters, please?
For our first Cruise In this year, May 23, we are doing a little memorial for Carry Davis. I have planted a tree in his memory; the tree is by the building where we serve the Cruise In food. Also, for that evening, I have a gift for the first 200 who bring a car.
Second; Paul Wightman had a stroke and is in intensive care and on a ventilator.
Thanks, I hope to see you soon

As we head into May the weather should finally start to warm up. Hopefully, no more car shows in 40-degree temps for awhile.
May looks to be a busy month. The Roundtown Cruisers and Der Dutchman Restaurant start their series of events this month. The big swap meet in Springfield is scheduled at the end of the month. The end of the month will also see several events celebrating our Armed Forces. Let's hope the weekends stay relatively dry.
