I had what you would call a very "Exotic" weekend. Not the kind with dancers, but the kind with cars. If you're into automobiles costing well north of $100,000, then you'll enjoy this weekend report.

Columbus Cars and Coffee at Esoteric

Saturday morning I attended the "Milligan" Columbus Cars and Coffee meet held at the Esoteric Fine Auto Finishing shop in New Albany, Ohio.

By my "unofficial" count, close to 100 automobiles showed up for this second meet of the season.

There was a nice mix of foreign exotics and modern American muscle.

The last weekend of April didn't have very many shows on the schedule.  All the shows scheduled took place on Sunday.  Here are reports and photos from two of those shows.

MUSIC TO YOUR EARS

I spent Sunday afternoon at Elgin High School outside Marion, Ohio.  The Elgin Music Boosters held their annual classic car show to raise money for the music programs at the high school.

This was my third year in a row attending the show. It's a fun 45 minute drive up the back roads from northwest Columbus to the high school.

This year there were 71 registered vehicles down a bit from the 77 that registered last year.

The show included door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and vendors inside the school selling mostly craft items.  Everyone that registered a vehicle was automatically entered to win a California Car Cover. To also help raise money, the music boosters sold hamburgers, hot dogs and bratwursts cooked on the grill. Music was provided by DJ Codi Kitts along with the various music programs at the high school.
