Here are the Central Ohio car events for the last full week of July. Hard to believe we're halfway through the season.

Just a reminder to check back here often as this list will most certainly change as we move through the week.

News and Notes:

Of course the big news last week was the cancellation of the Arthritis Foundation Classic Car Show and Cruise-In that was scheduled for August 20-22 in Dublin, Ohio. A few more significant shows also ended up on the chopping block thanks to the Governor's mass gathering orders. These included the Annual Buckeye Ranch Car Show in Ashville, The Cruisin with the Cops Car Show in downtown Bucyrus, The Charitable Open Car Show in Sunbury, and the Dublin Am Rotary Classic Car Show scheduled for September 6 in Dublin, Ohio.

Despite the cancelations, there were a few additional shows announced last week. The biggest of these being the USA Days Car Show in Centerburg, Ohio scheduled for September 13.

We're down to the last three weekends of outdoor events for 2019.

After this weekend, there are only six events remaining on the schedule unless something miraculously pops up in the next two weeks.

More than 260 cars and trucks packed Jack Maxton Chevrolet in Columbus, Ohio for the dealership's first Friday Night Cruisin of the season.

The beautiful weather not only brought out a lot of Chevys from around the area but also a lot of spectators. The band Electric Super Friends lit up the evening with classic rock tunes from the '60s, '70s, and '80s. The band sounded great!

The featured Chevrolets this month were:

  • Maxton's Favorite Corvette from the years '53-'67, '68-'82, and '84-present.
  • Maxton's Favorite Truck
  • Maxton's Favorite Corvair
