I originally planned to stop by the Last Friday Cruise-in, but after cleaning my car all day and a threat of showers in the area, I decided to spend Friday evening at home.
Saturday's weather was much improved so the first stop of the day was at Columbus Cars and Coffee at the Lennox Town Center.
This was my fourth visit this year to the Saturday morning cruise-in. Attendance was down a little from previous visits. I'm guessing the holiday weekend had something to do with this.
I counted three Cadillac CTS-V that made an appearance. Here are two of them.
Family commitments kept me from making a "judged" show this weekend, however, I did manage to spend a few hours at Columbus Cars and Coffee at Lennox Town Center on Saturday morning.
By the time I arrived at 9:20, the Jeep owners had already taken over the north side of the parking lot.
Most of the cars arrived around 10:00 am. There were well over 100 vehicles at the peak of the cruise-in.
Saturday morning I decide to make the trek down 315 and attend Columbus Cars and Coffee at Lennox Town Center. The unseasonably warm weather not only brought out a lot of car owners but also a lot of spectators. By 10 AM the parking lot was buzzing with people. By my unofficial count, more than 120 cars turned out for this week's cruise-in.
I have to admit I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Columbus Cars and Coffee. You tend to see cars that you wouldn't normally see at a "judged" car show. This Saturday was no exception. The morning featured a nice mix of classic, late-model, and modified cars. Read more
