You couldn't ask for better weather to kick off the first Der Dutchman cruise-in of the season. The restaurant in Plain City, Ohio registered 90 vehicles during the evening. Of the 90 that registered, 20 were participating in the cruise-in for the very first time.
Here are some of the cars that highlighted the evening.
Dan Varner and his 1966 Chevy Impala
Rick Taylor's custom ride
This Jaguar added a touch of England to the cruise-in.
I can only imagine how much fun these two Cobras powered by supercharged LS engines are to drive.
A couple more cars that caught my attention.
The cruise-in always ends with a raffle of assorted desserts and gift card from the restaurant.
Victor, one of the assistant managers, delivers a low-cal (just kidding) dessert to a lucky winner.
The first cruise-in of the season was an enjoyable evening of cars, friends and food. It was fun to reconnect with folks I hadn't seen since the last cruise-in of 2017. If this first cruise-in is any indication, Thursday evenings at Der Dutchman are going to be a whole lot of fun this year.
