Esoteric and Mid-Ohio Porsche Club Host Detailing Tech Session

Esoteric Fine Auto Finishing and the Mid-Ohio Region of the Porsche Club of America teamed up this weekend to host the second annual detailing tech session at the Esoteric facility.

A good crowd was on hand for the session despite the cold temperatures and magnesium chloride all over the roads. Many Porsche owners ignored the less than ideal road conditions and drove their cars to the session.

Esoteric owner, Todd Copperider, opened the event with a brief discussion of the services offered by his company.

Following Todd's remarks, demos were presented on leather conditioning, protective coating of paint and wheels, paint protection film, and general maintenance and washing techniques. The demos presented lots of great information.  All but the paint protection film were geared to the do-it-yourselfer who wants to tackle a detailing project in his or her garage.

Any event hosted by the Mid-Ohio Region of the Porsche Club would not be complete without a display of "top-end" Porsche models.

Still scratching my head how the blue Ferrari showed up front and center. Not complaining -- it was great eye candy.

Next Saturday (3/11/17) a similar event co-hosted with the Corvette folks will be held at the Esoteric shop. The time will again be from 10 am to 12 noon. Hope to see you there.

Thanks Todd. It's great that you and your team hold these type of events. They're a huge benefit for those of us who are into detailing our vehicles. It's great to learn from the experts.
