The humidity and potential threat of showers kept a few folks home this week. Fifty-six vehicles turned out for week four of the Der Dutchman Restaurant and Bakery cruise-in.
A number of cars made a first time appearance this week.
To start is this 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix. I took my drivers test in a 1965 Pontiac Bonneville which was every bit as big as this '66 Grand Prix. No wonder I hit the curb nine times trying to parallel this beast.
Not too often do you see two Hudson Jets at a cruise in.
This 1956 T-Bird was another first time participant.
A few more first timers for the year...
One of my friends won a small German chocolate pie from the raffled deserts. For myself and another friend, we both were "forced" to make a trip to the bakery when the cruise-in ended to purchase some fresh donuts.
