Creative Towing/Advanced Auto Parts First Show of Season This Friday

If you've got a good case of cabin fever or are just itching for a car show, Creative Towing/Advanced Auto Parts will be holding their first show of the season this Friday (March 13, 2020).

The show will take place at the Advanced Auto Parts store at 1005 Delaware Avenue (Rt 36) in Marysville, Ohio. Registration is from 5:30 to 7:00 PM with awards presented between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. Registration is Free! All proceeds from door prize sales and 50/50 raffle go to support local charities.

The weather forecast calls for rain in the morning but it should be out of the area by the start of the show. Temperatures look to be considerably warmer than they were for the last Creative Towing/Advanced Auto Parts show last November. I'm told the wheelbarrow fire pit is still available if needed.

Any questions regarding the show, please contact Jeff Shankle (614-679-2287).

Hi Larry, No question this year's car show season will be affected by Coronavirus if it continues to be highly active during the spring and summer. I can see the cancellation of the larger shows such as Goodguys and the Dublin Arthritis show if the spread continues like it is. A lot of us car owners are over the age of 60 and therefore the most vulnerable to infection. It definitely helps that 99% of the shows are outdoors and allow some level of social distancing. I don't think I'm going to be shaking lots of hands this season and a bottle of hand sanitizer will be a must-have addition to my detailing bag. I just hope the virus is seasonal like colds and flu and therefore the spread drops way down during the warmer months. 2020 is certainly starting off to be an interesting year.
