Saturday morning I decide to make the trek down 315 and attend Columbus Cars and Coffee at Lennox Town Center. The unseasonably warm weather not only brought out a lot of car owners but also a lot of spectators. By 10 AM the parking lot was buzzing with people. By my unofficial count, more than 120 cars turned out for this week's cruise-in.
I have to admit I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Columbus Cars and Coffee. You tend to see cars that you wouldn't normally see at a "judged" car show. This Saturday was no exception. The morning featured a nice mix of classic, late-model, and modified cars.
There were several Corvette and Camaro high performance builds by Carlyle Racing.
This '51 Mercury was an attention grabber.
Can't say I've seen too many '57 Nash Ambassadors.
Formacars is a Columbus company that builds high performance component cars and solutions. Their car attracted big crowds all morning.
Other classic cars that caught my attention.
This license plate made me chuckle.
No car show or cruise-in would be complete without at least one "rat rod".
An interesting 4th generation Camaro in need of a little detailing.
A few notable late-model cars. I may have a little bias for the last car.
Between the great weather and array of wonderful cars, the morning turned out to be a lot of fun. If you're looking for something to do on a Saturday morning, and you like cars, check out Columbus Cars and Coffee.
