NEWS AND NOTES
Columbus Cars and Coffee Final Meet of the Season:
The corporate version of Columbus Cars and Coffee held its final meet of the season Saturday morning at the Midwestern Auto Group (MAG) dealership in Dublin, Ohio.
There were a lot of wet cars for this final meet.

Monster Mash Trunk or Treat Cruise-In:
The rain stopped and the roads dried Saturday afternoon in time for the Monster Mash Trunk or Treat Cruise-In at the Vineyard Church in London, Ohio.

The cruise-in had lots of cars decorated for Halloween and plenty of trick-or-treaters.

There was no charge to register your car. The Vineyard Church had 40 award plaques and three "Special" trophies. The "Special" trophies included Kid's Choice, People's Choice, and Pastor's Choice.

There was also a "Favorite" Costume contest for the kids.
The People's Choice went to Jimmy Hollar with a 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo SS.

Darrin Long's 1968 Chevy Camaro was the Kid's Choice.

The Pastor chose Dave Muller's 1960 Rambler 4 Dr Classic.

I'm glad the rain stopped and the roads dried as it turned out to be a fun couple of hours in London. London, Ohio that is.
Toy Barn Trunk or Treat:
About 40 cars turned out for the Toy Barn's Trunk or Treat event on Saturday evening.

Nothing says Halloween more than an orange Lamborghini Huracan with pumpkins.

Here are some more cars from the Toy Barn Trunk or Treat.

Pap's Rod Shop Trunk or Treat:
Pap's Rods n Kustoms hosted its 4th Annual Trunk or Treat Show at Evans Family Ranch in New Carlisle, Ohio on Saturday.

Last year the event had over 200 cars but this year with the rain attendance was a bit over 80.
Pap's gave out awards to the Top 40 cars along with Best Costume and Spookiest Car.
The top 40 award was a laser-cut steel Frankenstein face. Very clever.

This hearse received the Spookiest Car Award.

Pap's Rod n Kustoms has raised $2500 from its shows this year to help flood and hurricane victims.
Trunk or Treat Spooktacular!:
The Urbana, Ohio Cruisers hosted a rainy Trunk or Treat Spooktacular car show on Sunday.

The Urbana Cruisers with their auction raised $1650 for Donald Sparks. For those who may not know who Donald Sparks is, you'll find him on YouTube under the channel name Go4Rider. Every weekend Donald takes videos of as many car shows and cruise-ins as he can travel to in the Springfield-Dayton-Xenia-Urbana areas and posts them to most of the Ohio car show-related Facebook Groups. The money raised at Sunday's show will help cover some of the travel costs so Donald can continue making videos of Ohio car events.

That's it for this wet weekend of events. A big thanks to Jeff Shankle and Chad Herrick for their help with this week's News and Notes.
NOTE: Since the entire month of November is posted here, there will be no more weekly lists for the remainder of the year. Don't panic if you don't see a posting next week. I will be back in TWO weeks with reports from the shows that are scheduled during the first two weekends of November. I hope everyone has a good couple of weeks! Stay safe and I'll see you back here on November 13.
