NEWS AND NOTES:
It sounds like the weather in Central Ohio was pretty ugly this past week. The inaugural Plain City Tuesday Evening Cruise-In was completely rained out.

Rain also affected the monthly Creative Automotive/Advanced Auto Parts Car Show in Marysville on Friday evening. Eight cars braved the cold, wet weather for this month's show.

The 13 or so cars that showed up for the Columbia Center Community Church Car Show on Saturday in Pataskala, Ohio had to put up with not only the cold and rain but snow and sleet. Steve Schaeffer's GTO won the People's Choice Award. A "do-over" show has been scheduled for Friday, June 3, 2022, when the weather will be a bit warmer and hopefully a bit dryer.

The weather did improve on Sunday. As a result, the Lancaster Car Scene Car Show held at the Outerbelt Brewery in Carroll, Ohio registered 100 cars. From what I understand, they weren't expecting that large a turnout. Our good friends, Dale Pearce and Tom Stewart received Top 10 awards.

Special thanks to Jeff Shankle and Dale Pearce for help with the week's report.

The Cruising Chillicothe event is actually next week (4th Saturday of each month). I learned that this morning, and thought I would pass it on. It's listed incorrectly in the Scioto Post. It is the same day (later time) as the Chillicothe Central Center cruise-in.

Hi Jim, Thanks for the update. You have to wonder if anyone proofreads before posting anymore. I have removed the cruise from this week's list and will post it for next week with a note about the date change.
