Bull Frog Auto Spa Food Drive Car Show Closes Out the 2019 Season

On Sunday, the Bull Frog Auto Spa in conjunction with Carlyle Racing, Jax Wax, The Street Racing Channel, and Horse Power Monkeys Race Team closed out the 2019 season with their annual food drive car show.

The show was held in the parking lot of the Tractor Supply Company in Johnstown, Ohio.

The show registered 28 vehicles. The registration fee was either $5 or two canned food items. There were door prizes and a 50/50 drawing to also raise money.

The food and $274 the show raised from registration, door prizes and 50/50 will be going to the Johnstown Northridge Community Food Panty.

The show presented five awards, one for each of the following classes.

  • Best Race Car
  • Best Muscle
  • Best Daily Driver
  • Best Female Driven
  • Best Overall

The Best Race Car award went to Oscar and his 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4

Word has it this car will hurt some feelings.

Dave O'Brien and his 1970 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible received the Best Muscle Car award.

This 2019 Dodge Durango SRT belonging to Christine Agin picked up the Best Daily Driver.

The Best Female Driven pick was Mariah Bell's 2017 Kia Soul Turbo.

My 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 was honored with the Best Overall pick.

Rather than give out trophies, the class winners received merchandise from the show sponsors.

Here's the Jax Wax merchandise I received. It will definitely be put to good use.

I'm so glad the weather cooperated for this last show of the year. You never know what you're going to get weather wise the middle of November.

It's always a little sad when something you enjoy has temporarily come to an end. This photo really sums up what car shows and cruise-ins are all about. It's about spending time with good friends who all share a common interest in cars.
